Interview Tips: Katie’s Interview Essentials

Katelyn Yunes, MS

WKPIC Doctoral Intern

I was thinking of some tips for future internship interviewees, and I thought about some of the things that I bought to make my life easier during that stressful time…

  1. The Internships in Psychology: The APAGS Workbook for Writing Successful Applications and Finding the Right Fit, Fourth Edition.  To prepare for questions that may be asked during the interview/Suggestions of what to include in Thank You letters and FAQ’s.
  2. Caffeinated chocolate bars for those long interview days.
  3. This portable steamer for de-wrinkling my suit on the fly – I still use it and will never iron again.
